Your number may be banned from WhatsApp for breaking the following advice:
- Do NOT link your business number up to WhatsApp Web / WhatsApp Desktop for at least 1 week
- Do NOT join any group for up to 7 days after verifying
- Ask at least 5 colleagues or friends to message your new number before you send any outbound messages
- Do not message numbers who haven't been saved as contacts
- Do not copy and paste the same messages and send them to multiple contacts
- Do not use lots of links in messages
- Do not send lots of documents/attachments in messages
- Do not send lots more messages than you're receiving (there needs to be a balance)
- Do not link the number up to different mobile devices and desktop devices within the first week of using your number
- Do not do anything else that WhatsApp 'could' perceive as spam / marketing activity
